Schedule : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm, Monday to Friday

Annual Salary : $55,000 - $70,000

Logistics Coordinator - Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Manage daily intermodal schedule for Big Blue Boxes in MN, IA, ND, and SD.
  • Dispatch drivers in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations
  • Track and maintain all equipment, drivers and their hours of service
  • Create and maximize capacity by ensuring use of equipment and driving staff
  • Problem solving before the issues result in service failures
  • Timely clerical responsibilities to ensure completeness of job
  • Rail billing
  • Empty Returns
  • Chassis pickup and drop locations
  • Other job duties as assigned

    • Logistics Coordinator - Education and Experience Required :

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain and / or Marketing
  • Transportation / Management experience or will train the right candidate

    • Logistics Coordinator - Knowledge and Skills :

  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Computerized dispatch and record keeping
  • Willingness to adapt to ever changing customer requirements
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Tolerance to ambiguity
