Are you passionate about helping others live full, meaningful lives? Horizons is hiring Support Coaches (Direct Support Professionals - DSPs) to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, learn, work, and play with independence and purpose.

For over 40 years, Horizons has fostered dignity, connection, and inclusion. As a Support Coach, you'll build real relationships and support people in achieving their goals and living life on their own terms.

What You'll Do :

• Support individuals with daily living tasks-such as meals, hygiene, and household routines-with respect and encouragement.
• Help maintain a welcoming home environment and assist with meal prep in accordance with any dietary needs.
• Assist individuals in working toward personal goals identified in their Individual Service Plan (ISP).
• Get to know each person's unique interests, strengths, and communication styles.
• Administer medications according to physician's orders and DDS guidelines.
• Respond with compassion and training in moments of challenge, ensuring emotional and physical safety.
• Communicate clearly, respectfully, and in ways that center the individual's voice.
• Document your work thoughtfully and participate in staff development and training.
• Keep your manager informed of anything notable related to the individual's well-being.
