Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at a leading aircraft manufacturer. This role is critical in delivering exceptional support to our customers, distributors, and service centers by providing engineering expertise, troubleshooting in-service issues, and driving continuous improvement in support processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and remote technical assistance to customers and service partners.
• Collaborate with factory engineering, design, and production teams to resolve field issues and develop repair solutions.
• Analyze in-service data to optimize troubleshooting and improve aircraft performance.
• Manage customer cases using CRM tools, tracking fleet data, technical subjects, warranty claims, and contact history.
• Support the distributor and service center network by promoting standardization and enhancing available tools.
• Build strong relationships with service partners through regular communication and collaboration.
• Relay customer feedback and propose actionable improvements to enhance service quality and satisfaction.
• Respond to customer needs promptly, including emergency on-call support.
• Assist with warranty administration and parts / logistics coordination.
• Contribute to technical documentation, process development, and knowledge sharing across the support network.
• Stay current with aircraft systems and support tools, and help train service centers on updates and improvements.
