Discovery Ranch South is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Math Teacher to join our educational team. Our organization is committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for students who are undergoing therapeutic treatment. As a Math Teacher at Discovery Ranch South, you will play a vital role in helping students in grades 7-12 develop their mathematical skills, build confidence, and achieve academic success while also contributing to their overall healing journey. Small class sizes. Full time (noon- 8pm) or part time (2 : 30-8 : 00pm) available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging math instruction aligned with state curriculum standards.
• Develop and adapt individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess and track student progress in mathematical understanding.
• Coordinate with therapists and support staff to integrate academic goals with therapeutic practices.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and interaction.
• Maintain clear and constructive communication with students, parents, and team members.
• Provide additional support and resources to help students overcome academic challenges.
• Oversee teaching assistants to provide individualized academic instruction for each student.
