Trauma Veterinary Technician II

The Arizona Humane Society is looking for a dedicated full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Trauma Hospital team at our state-of-the-art Rob and Melani Walton Papago Park Campus. This position pays $22-$25 depending on skills and experience.

A Day in the Life :

As a veterinary technician, you will assist the operations of the Shelter Medical teams, championing AHS' core values of innovation, compassion, and excellence. You will play a critical role in providing urgent and intensive care to animals in emergency situations. You will assist veterinarians in the treatment of animals and work alongside the team to ensure high levels of patient care.

Work Environment / Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. There will be wet floors, animal noises, odors, and dander. Most time will be spent in a typical air conditioned and heated office environment.
