Physician Assistant - Urgent Care (Moonlighting)

Job Overview

Fairview Urgent Care Centers provide convenient medical care weekdays, evenings and weekends. Advance Practice Providers working in urgent care provide a broad spectrum of non-emergent care for minor illness and injury. All hospital admissions are referred to the physician on-call for these practices. Moonlighters are needed for a variety of shifts at M Health Fairview urgent care centers and at other M Health Fairview clinics in the metro area. Hours vary by site. Volume fluctuates seasonally.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

BC / BE through NCCPA

Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice

Ability to obain and / or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota

Meet threshold criteria / qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).

Must be comfortable seeing pediatric and adult patients.

At least 1-2 years urgent care or clinic experience as an APP. Internal, Fairview employed providers only at this time.

Skills required - suturing, splinting, I and D.
