HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Weston, Florida.

Position : Operating Room RN – Liver / Transplant Specialty

Location : Cleveland Clinic Florida, Weston, FL

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week (3x12s) or 40 hours / week (8 / 10s)

Charting System : EPIC

Scrubs : Ceil Blue (provided)

Parking : Free in unrestricted spaces

đź©ş Required Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years of direct Operating Room RN experience with a focus on liver and transplant surgeries.
  • Certifications :

    • ACLS (AHA only, provider card or RQI acceptable)

  • BLS (AHA only, provider card or RQI acceptable)
  • NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
  • Skills :

    • Proficiency in Misonix / CUSA equipment

  • Experience with organ implantation (not just harvesting)
  • On-Call Requirement :

    • 1 shift per week

  • Two 12-hour weekend shifts per month
  • Floating : Required within scope to meet facility needs
  • Block Scheduling : Not available
  • Locals : Accepted at the same rate; no radius rule
  • Pending License : Accepted
  • RTO Restrictions : All requested time off must be included at the time of submission; late requests are unlikely to be approved
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours for 3x12s or 40 hours for 8 / 10s
  • Special Requirements : Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly upon confirmation

  • Transplant Surgery : Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Organ donation

    • Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources / cords, Hana Table, Steris

  • Emergency Management :

    • Fire Safety

  • Professional Knowledge / Skills :

    • Infection control, Laser safety, Specimen handling / labeling, Universal Protocol (time-out), Urinary bladder catheterization, Wound management

  • Vaccine Requirements :
