RN Clinical Educator - GS Home LTC

This position would be a total of 20 hours per week (40 hours bi-weekly). We will require flexibility for this role based on the facility's needs.

Good Shepherd Home - Bethlehem is for individuals 18 years of age and older requiring residential nursing care. Primary diagnoses served include, but are not limited to, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, quadriplegia, Multiple Sclerosis, traumatic brain injury and spina bifida. Each resident and his or her family are active participants in the development of a care plan.

To ensure that clinical staff have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality, competent, and safe care to residents.

Assures learning needs of clinical associates

Develops in-service programs in response to clinical needs and teaches staff according to current accepted standards of care / practice as well as Good Shepherd policy.

Participates as an active member of the Nursing Management Team

Reviews new educational and documentation programs and software

Supports clinical practices that adhere to the organization's philosophy, goal, standards of care, and required governing regulations

Promotes Good Shepherd by promoting the positive reputation of Good Shepherd.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required

2-4 years of demonstrated clinical and teaching experience preferred

Registered Nurse license required
