JOB SUMMARY :

As a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Physicians Care, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide exceptional medical care to patients of all ages experiencing a variety of medical conditions. Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and educate patients while maintaining the highest standards of care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues
• Offer friendly and accessible care to all patients seeking health services
• Lead and provide reassurance during emergencies, ensuring patient comfort
• Adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing conditions
• Conduct thorough medical assessments and manage follow-up care, including :
• Primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals, and workers' compensation
• Perform medical procedures such as laceration care, nail removal, pap tests, injections, and abscess drainage
• Establish appropriate care plans for clinic patients
• Oversee laboratory, x-ray, and injection services, as applicable
• Maintain clinical competencies
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure operations align with medical policies and professional standards
• Participate in the development and revision of medical practice policies
• Engage in education programs for staff and assist with in-service training
• Advise on growth opportunities for existing and new services
• Ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting requirements
• Represent Physicians Care at various meetings and events
• Guide and support other medical staff to ensure high-quality services and patient satisfaction

WHAT'S REQUIRED?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred
• Active state licensure as an APRN or PA
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification
• Current DEA license or eligible to obtain upon hire
• Current DOT certification or willing to obtain upon hire
• Current BLS certification

WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?

Our full-time team members work on a rotating schedule of 30-40 hours per week, which includes 12-hour weekday shifts and every other weekend. PRN team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
