Quality Control Specialist

The Role

The purpose of this position is to verify products and processes during daily dock receiving and ensure compliance to company standards and specifications. Utilizes forklift to slot and move products as necessary. Backs up other Quality Control Specialists.

Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To

• Inspects and audits all incoming produce and slotted produce items
• Verifies packaging labeling lot coding of all produce / food items received.
• Validates pre-shipment review.
• Perform daily ATP swabs to verify sanitation
• Understands and follows material hold release program
• Effectively uses Microsoft Office Word Excel Outlook TEAMS for inter-department communication.
• Follows GMPs at all times
• Team Member of the Safety Team
