Position Summary

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides high-quality, individualized care to residents under the supervision and direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). This role supports residents in achieving their highest level of independence and functional ability.

Responsibilities

Deliver skilled occupational therapy services as directed by the supervising OT

Implement and adjust treatment plans to meet each resident’s goals

Provide instruction and support to patients, families, and caregivers

Monitor progress and communicate updates to the therapy and care teams

Document all treatments and observations accurately and in compliance with regulations

Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapy Assistant License in Pennsylvania (in good standing)

Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience preferred

Strong understanding of therapy practices and documentation standards

Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
