Job Role: CT Technologist

Location: New York, NY 10003

Duration: 2+ Months

Shift: Day/Evening/Night

Pay Rate: $68/hr - $70/hr

Required: 2 years of recent exp

License & Certification: New York State License (L.R.T), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT and current CT certification)"

Education: Graduate of Radiologic Technologist

Skills:

Performs CT procedures according to the prescribed protocols in order to ensure uniformity and accuracy.

Exercises appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patient’s needs prior to, during and after visits in the Radiology department.

Duties:

1. Requires the utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.

2. Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment in order to ensure the equipment is calibrated and working properly before any patient study is performed.

3. Injects patients with radioactive material as per the physician’s order following the prescribed protocol.
