Location : Camarillo, CA (USA) or Richmond, BC (Canada)

Work Arrangement : Hybrid or onsite in either Camarillo, CA or Richmond, BC. Cross-functional collaboration with finance, accounting, and external tax advisors across multiple time zones.

Position Summary : The Tax Senior will play a key role in managing indirect tax compliance and supporting global tax operations across multiple jurisdictions. This position is responsible for the preparation, review, and filing of sales and use tax, GST, and other indirect tax returns, maintaining compliance calendars, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external service providers. The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• U.S. Tax Compliance and Provision

Coordinate and review monthly U.S. sales and use tax returns using Avalara and SAP data.

Coordinate with external tax advisors for New Zealand tax compliance, including preparation and payment of provisional tax installments.

Assist with Canadian GST / HST filings and related compliance requirements.

Maintain detailed procedural manuals, workpapers, and tax filing documentation in designated server locations.

Update and manage the global tax compliance calendar to ensure timely filings and internal deadlines are met.

Qualifications :

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is USD$82,000 - $120,000 if located in Camarillo, California or CAD$70,000 - $92,000 if located in Richmond, BC. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to : job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee's total compensation package.
