About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Hours per Shift : 5 hours (730a-1230p)

Experience : Minimum 3 years

License : Nuclear Medicine License required

Certifications : ARRT (N), BLS

Must-Have : Siemens "Symbia" equipment experience

Description :

Managers will conduct interviews.

No first-time travelers will be considered.

This position is Monday through Friday from 730a to 1230p.

Common types of imaging / studies performed include hearts, HIDAs, GI bleeds, VQ scans, bone scans, and renal scans.

Gastric emptying, injection of sentinel nodes, lymph system evaluations, lexiscans, pulmonary and thyroid scans are also part of the job duties.

The average number of scans / studies performed per day is between 5 and 10.

Weekend call is required from 8a to 430p.

Hospital experience is required in this role.

Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment.

This is an acute care setting position within the Allied division.
