Job Responsibilities :
Serves as the primary catcher of Product Development Lifecycle Management (PDLM) subprojects from the Product Industrialization Engineer, focusing on a specific technology within manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless coordination and execution throughout the product development and launch process.
Provides input for manufacturing requirements within the PDLM system, aligns with production needs and facilitates smooth transitions from product design to production stages, thereby enhancing efficiency and quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
Creates quality control plan and work instructions and maintains adherence to embedded quality standards, including compliance with safety, regulatory, environmental, and legal requirements, as well as company General Business principles and other relevant policies.
Supervises the installation of equipment and provides support during the ramp-up phase of specific processes at the site, ensuring seamless integration of new machinery and facilitating the transition to full-scale production while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Provides input from the factory perspective during the sign-off at the SR milestone and project closure, ensuring that manufacturing considerations are adequately addressed and contributing to the successful completion of the project with a focus on quality, efficiency, and adherence to manufacturing standards and requirements.
Executes design changes throughout the lifecycle management process (LCM) to improve product functionality, efficiency, and quality, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Implements enhancements in manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to drive quality and efficiency improvements, and monitors the performance of processes, tools, and equipment following project handover, ensuring seamless continuity and addressing any operational challenges that arise.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures / practices to determine appropriate action, applying analytical skills to resolve medium complexity requests efficiently, applies lean manufacturing principles, employing methodologies to streamline production processes, minimize waste, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall efficiency within the manufacturing environment.
Implements Capex optimization initiatives for recurring investments in manufacturing processes, aiming to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
Procures and installs recurring equipment at the site, ensuring seamless integration into manufacturing processes and adherence to quality standards.
Minimum required Education :
Bachelor's Degree / Vocational Education in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Cost Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Process Optimization or equivalent.
Minimum required Experience :
Preferred Certification :
Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.
