As a Technician in Engineering Services, you’ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.
As a Technician / Specialist, a typical day might include the following :
Apply concepts in the planning, design, testing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical power systems.
Develop and maintain a basic level of knowledge in the detail design practices of SEL protection and automation systems as well as quality standards.
Conduct tests in support of department objectives, documenting and reporting malfunctions and identifying / analyzingundesirable trends.
Perform wiring modifications and physical installation of electrical protection, control, and automation equipment as required.
This job might be for you if :
Have the ability to provide technical service and / or engineering support in an engineering environment
Have an Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent certification, training and experience
Are able to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings and wiring diagrams
Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
Familiarity with Autocad, Microstation and AcSELerator Quickset and industry protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus)

Pay Range Data
$33.00 - $45.00
We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
