Shipping & Receiving Associate

This position requires a mix of shipping and receiving skills including scheduling trucks for pickups, filling out packing slips, doing transactions in a computer system, etc. The best candidate will have an upbeat, positive attitude.
Pay: up to $20/hr depending on skills and experience.
Shifts: 7:00 am 3:30 pm Monday - Friday **This is a small team, so flexibility with schedule depending on work volume is required**. Duties:
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and organization
- Understand the principles of stock location and arrangement of materials
- Pick and pack items for outbound
- Using RF scanners
- Using logistical systems for shipping/receiving
- Need to be comfortable lifting 50lbs consistently.
- Folding boxes to be used for shipping
- Packing and labeling items for shipping
- Unload shipping containers of product inbound.
- Prepare containers to be shipped per customer requirements.
- Keep daily logs, inventory, and rotate stock.
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Segregate non-conforming material.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Perform receiving procedures.
- Must support and follow the QMS requirements.
Skills:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year, of recent and consistent work experience in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum 6 months working experience on a forklift.
- Moderate computer knowledge
- Highly preferred UPS and/or FedEx Shipping software experience
