A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist (Contract).
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately and timely, including W2 payroll and 1099 payments
Manage and process all types of employee garnishments and ensure compliance with payroll laws
Maintain accurate payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and prepare payroll reports
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a professional office environment, preferably in accounting or finance
Strong experience with payroll systems and US payroll tax compliance
Experience with garnishments, general ledger, payroll taxes, and benefit deductions
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with payroll best practices
