Schedule : Monday Friday 8 : 15 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m. (ET) Up to 10% Travel

HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Director Technology Development will serve as the global functional leader for key R&D programs and platform technologies. Primary responsibilities include leading the team to rapidly execute key strategic programs and assisting the VP of R&D in developing the strategy for the systems processes and organizational structure needed to effectively deliver the franchise product portfolio and facilitate strategic growth of the business. Translate business objectives customer insights and market analysis into clear technical strategies and actionable development plans. Prioritize development efforts based on business impact technical feasibility and resource constraints. Develop and implement a robust scalable technology development process that ensures speedy and predictable delivery with high quality. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of scientists engineers researchers and technical specialists. Oversee project planning resource allocation timelines budgets and risk management for technology development initiatives.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Leadership : Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of scientists engineers researchers and technical specialists. Oversee project planning resource allocation timelines budgets and risk management for technology development initiatives. Using established people processes (performance development succession and career) ensures their teams level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards.
• Technology Development : Lead the execution of strategic technology development programs. Provides technical leadership to implement and advance a robust scalable technology development process that ensures predictable delivery with high quality. Translate business objectives customer insights and market analysis into clear technical strategies and actionable development plans. Prioritize development efforts based on business impact technical feasibility and resource constraints.
• Strategy : Participates in corporate level strategic and resource planning. Define and champion the companys long-term technology vision and roadmap. This will include strategy for the systems processes and organizational structure needed to effectively deliver the franchise product portfolio.
• Collaboration and Support : Collaborates with senior leadership to ensure that the financial staffing and operational infrastructure are in place to deliver upon agreed strategy. Responsible for staff planning development and training of staff. Prepares and manages budget for agreed new product / process initiatives. Provides scientific support for technical and non-technical staff including guidance and project review.
• Reporting and Communicating : Represents the department in various departmental and interdepartmental committees that address scientific and administrative initiatives. Reviews writes submits and presents results of research initiatives both internally and externally.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range : $ 132659 to $ 203459 annually

Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location qualifications and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $ 132659 annually (entry level qualifications) to $ 203459 annually (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidates knowledge and relevant experience.
