A respected Los Angeles litigation firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff-Side Employment Attorney to lead and build its new Employment Law practice area. This is a mid-senior level role ideal for an attorney who is ready to take ownership of a department and play a strategic role in the firm’s growth.

Position Overview

The selected attorney will oversee all aspects of the Employment Law department, including case strategy, litigation management, workflow development, and collaboration with firm leadership. This individual must be comfortable handling cases from intake through resolution and advising on best practices as the department scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and build the firm’s Employment Law practice area
• Manage a plaintiff-side employment caseload from start to finish
• Handle wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage & hour matters
• Create and refine workflows, systems, and processes for the new department
• Partner directly with the CEO and COO on strategy and practice development
• Provide mentorship support as the team expands
