Location : Vineland, NJ 08360 (South Jersey healthcare jobs)

Setting : Acute Care – Operating Room (OR)

Employment Type : Local Contract Registered Nurse

Duration : 13-week nursing contract

Hours per Week : 40

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM, 4x10 hour shifts / week

On Call : One weekend per month (36 hours : 24 hours Saturday, 12 hours Sunday)

Scrubs : Provided by hospital

Start Date : January 5, 2026

Hourly Pay Rate : $93.93

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2520–$2650

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN), with ability to both scrub and circulate

Demonstrated expertise (3+ years) in Orthopedic Spine, Robotics, and Trauma surgical cases

Active RN license in the State of New Jersey (NJ nursing license required)

Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications

National certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) or related specialty preferred

Successful completion of all required orientation modules and in-person training

OR RN Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate in a high-volume operating room, delivering quality patient care for orthopedic spine, robotics, and trauma procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal surgical outcomes

Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, infection control, and patient safety protocols

Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled

Complete all orientation, HealthStream assignments, and in-person training modules

Obtain hospital ID badge during orientation for timekeeping and access
