Oversee administrative tasks, including checklists, prep lists, and reporting via Restaurant 365. Conduct regular equipment checks and ensure proper maintenance to uphold operational efficiency. Troubleshoot production and logistics issues with the Culinary Director, ensuring seamless service. Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with company values. Train and mentor team members, fostering growth in technique, teamwork, and efficiency. Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations, encouraging creativity and continuous improvement. Delegate responsibilities to leverage individual strengths and maintain operational excellence. Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or café setting. Proven leadership skills focused on team training, motivation, and retention. Strong background in operations, inventory management, and vendor relationships. Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. General Manager Responsibilities :
Operations & Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through a culture of hospitality.
- Work closely with the pastry chef and Regional Director to maintain consistency in preparation, presentation, and flavor of in-house dining and catering offerings.
- Drive quality by enforcing hygiene and safety policies in compliance with health department and company standards.
- Collaborate on developing innovative and seasonal recipes, incorporating local and cultural influences.
- Manage vendor relationships, sourcing ingredients from local purveyors and farmers to maintain high-quality standards.
- Inspire, train, and motivate the team to deliver excellence in execution, organization, and creativity.
