Ohio Licensed Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist - HIM Revenue Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct audits of physician / provider documentation and coding for office and surgical procedure encounters

Research and communicate coding / billing policies and provide education for providers and staff

Review code change requests and coding denials or other payer requests

Required Qualifications

Associate degree, preferably in health information management or related field

Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding

Minimum of 3 years of physician / professional complex surgical and E&M coding experience

CPC, CCS-P, CPMA, RHIT, or RHIA certification
