You understand drinking water and wastewater treatment processes, systems, and technologies. You have extensive knowledge of the regulatory and funding environments. You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You are self-motivated with the ability to manage time independently. We’re seeking an experienced Drinking Water / Wastewater Engineer who’s ready to leverage their industry knowledge and professional network in a part-time sales and marketing capacity .
This role is ideal for a retired or semi-retired professional who enjoys building relationships, sharing expertise, and helping municipalities, engineering firms, and industrial clients find effective water and wastewater solutions.
What You’ll Do :
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients in the drinking water and wastewater markets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry connections.
- Provide technical insight and credibility when discussing products or services with clients.
- Attend industry events, association meetings, and professional conferences as needed (reimbursed).
- Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to ensure client needs are understood and met.
- Maintain communication of sales activities and pipeline updates.
