Psychiatrist

(Physician / MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (General) - Adult Psychiatrist - In-Patient (Abilene, Texas)

We are seeking an Adult Psychiatrist that is interested in working on an in-patient basis with a well-respected Psychiatric facility in Abilene, Texas. The Psychiatrist would work predominantly on the Adult Unit and manage patients that suffer from depression, substance abuse, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and other co-occurring disorders and co-morbidities. The unit is comprised of 30 beds and the Psychiatrist would have excellent support and enjoy working with an interdisciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, LCSWs, Psychiatric RNs and other allied professionals. The Psychiatrist would enjoy a very competitive compensation and benefits package with incentive bonus structure. Abilene has an excellent school system, and very nice amenities including shopping, dining and is accessible to the Dallas | Fort Worth area (2 hours away) and Austin 4 hours away. Texas is a no income tax state with reasonable housing and excellent weather for out-door activities year round.

Requirements of the Position :

Board Certified Psychiatrist that is comfortable treating adult | geriatric patients.

On-Call Responsibilities : 1 weekend per month (Paid Call)

Flexible Schedule

Compensation :

Base Salary of $300,000 per year

Incentive Bonus : 60% of net collections after overhead expenses are covered
