Pharmacy Technician Specialist

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals

Contact doctors to obtain necessary information for prior authorizations

Manage assigned workflow queues and ensure accurate documentation of information

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; some college preferred

CPhT preferred; pharmacy technician license or trainee license strongly preferred in relevant states

Minimum two years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred

Ability to work scheduled hours, with varying shifts based on department needs

Participation in compliance program objectives is expected
