They carry outthese responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursingpractice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. Relateseffectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactoryrelations with other departments and nursing units; participates in all phasesof education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures,and skills of personnel.
