Medical Technologist

Overview

The Medical Technologist analyzes and report lab values as part of the interdisciplinary care of our patients. Diagnostic procedures performed may include chemistry, microbiology, hemostasis, hematology, blood banking, urinalysis and phlebotomy.

Hours: This full-time position will work 80 hours bi-weekly on day shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight over technical lab operations
• Reviews patient results as well as related records such as quality control and instrument correlations
• Analyzes and reports all lab tests requested on patients

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor of Medical Technology, CLS or Science
• 1 year Clinical Laboratory required, new grads accepted
• MLT (ASCP), CLS or Equivalent certification
• Med. Tech license in state of practice
