Position Overview

Renowned Recruitment Group is partnering with a premier construction company seeking a full time Controller. This person will oversee all accounting operations for a growing construction organization ensuring accurate financial reporting rigorous job costing and strong internal controls. This role requires deep experience in construction accounting including WIP reporting cost analysis and project-level financial oversight.

This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting skills a firm understanding of GAAP and the ability to support both day-to-day operations and strategic financial decisions. A CPA is strongly preferred.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of accounting operations overseeing all transactions related to general ledger receivables payables and financial reporting.
• Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Analyze companys financial results with respect to profits trends costs and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
• Analyze profit and loss for various business units Interior Design Architecture Construction and Cabinets.
• Develop and coordinate all relationships with lending / financial institutions.
• Assist management in financial planning and results management. Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
• Coordinate prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual reports.
• Manage relationships with insurance providers and ensure compliance.
• Manage all tax planning and compliance with all required federal state local payroll property and other applicable taxes.
• Forecast and manage cash flow.
