Job Summary :

Swaybox Studios is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to help maintain, optimize, and expand the technical infrastructure that supports our animation and VFX production. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and enjoys working closely with IT, production, and artist teams to solve problems and keep critical systems running smoothly.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our studio remains scalable, secure, and high-performing as we take on exciting new challenges-including our groundbreaking partnership with DC Comics to create a game-changing visual storytelling experience .

Work location : On Site in New Orleans, Louisiana

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and troubleshoot studio infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, render farms, and user workstations.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimization and improvement.
• Provide day-to-day support for users across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Ensure network stability, uptime, and security across both local and remote workflows.
• Assist with scripting and automation of routine tasks to improve efficiency.
• Work closely with the Head of Systems Engineering to roll out upgrades, new tools, and long-term infrastructure planning.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and asset management systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation and support best practices across the team.
