Job Title : Business Developer
Reports to : VP of Sales
Location : Remote (with travel in assigned territory)
Position Summary
Our client is seeking experienced, driven, and dynamic Business Developers for the Southeast and West Coast territories. This position is ideal for a results-oriented sales professional with a hunter-farmer mindset - someone who thrives on growing existing accounts while also developing new business.
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the book of business in their assigned region, developing strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires strong presentation and closing skills, high energy, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Existing book of business or prior customer relationships in the territory is a major plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing accounts within the assigned territory
- Identify and close new business opportunities - must be both a hunter and a farmer
- Deliver impactful product presentations and demonstrate effective closing techniques
- Maintain detailed pipelines, track progress, and report regularly using CRM tools
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales to align on strategy, targets, and execution
- Conduct regular in-person and virtual meetings with key clients and prospects
- Partner with internal departments (Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain) to support forecasting and customer needs
- Represent company at trade shows, industry events, and association meetings
- Ensure excellent customer experience and uphold the highest ethical standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferredMinimum 5-7 years of B2B sales experience; experience in the textile or industrial laundry industry is strongly preferredProven track record of sales growth and closing new businessExisting book of business or prior customer relationships in the territory is a major plusHigh energy, self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and accountabilityExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsDetail-oriented with a focus on pipeline tracking, forecasting, and follow-throughProficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office SuiteMust be willing and able to travel 25%-50% within the assigned territoryWhy Join?
