Business Central Software Developer

Salary : $110,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements :

• 3+ years of practical development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong expertise in the AL programming language
• Experience in building and utilizing REST APIs and web services
• Understanding of SQL and relational database principles
• Knowledge of Git version control and contemporary development processes
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills for complex integration challenges
• Capability to work independently while staying aligned with leadership priorities
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience with WooCommerce development or WordPress / PHP
• Familiarity with e-commerce platform integrations (marketplaces, shipping carriers, payment gateways)
• Background in distribution, wholesale, or parts sectors
• Knowledge of warehouse management and inventory control practices
• Proficiency in additional programming languages like JavaScript (Vue), Python, or Java

Responsibilities :

Develop, sustain, and improve AL extensions for Business Central

Create and manage API integrations linking Business Central to external systems

Generate customized reports, pages, and code units to facilitate operational workflows

Diagnose and rectify issues with existing customizations and integrations

Establish event subscribers and automation for shipping, inventory, and order management processes

Oversee and cultivate integrations between Business Central and WooCommerce

Manage connections to third-party sales platforms and marketplaces

Support backend e-commerce operations, including inventory synchronization, order processing, and fulfillment tasks

Take ownership of development projects from requirements gathering through to deployment

Coordinate multiple simultaneous projects, prioritizing based on business importance and leadership guidance

Proactively communicate progress, obstacles, and technical considerations

Continuously seek and implement enhancements to current systems and workflows
