Machine Shop Operator – First Shift

Job Title : Machine Shop Operator – First Shift Location : Wilmington, MA Pay Rate : $20 hour (DOE) Position Type : Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM) About Us : FootBridge's Client is growing their manufacturing company. We are seeking a motivated Machine Shop Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic machining knowledge who is eager to learn and grow within a hands-on, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities : Operate and set up 4-axis machining equipment. Run manual milling machines (Bridgeport) efficiently and safely. Support lathe operations as needed. Interpret technical drawings and follow specifications to produce quality parts. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols. Participate in training and skill development opportunities to enhance machining expertise. Qualifications : Basic machining experience is required; willingness to learn and be trained is essential. Experience with 4-axis machining preferred. Knowledge of Proto-Trac programming is a plus. Ability to operate a manual milling machine (Bridgeport) is required. Lathe experience is a bonus but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time, first shift.
