You will be responsible for assisting homeowners, builders, contractors, architects, and designers to facilitate the sale of building materials, along with providing specialized knowledge and support through exceptional project management. Requirements :
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Open / close the facility at the start / end of each day and maintain a clear view of the front door to greet and welcome customers into the showroom.
- Manage inbound / outbound communication (i.e., phone system, email, text, US Mail / UPS / FedEx, etc.)
- Maintain the visual appeal, cleanliness, and general upkeep of the showroom facility, its supplies, displays, product samples, and literature.
- Coordinate the scheduling and planning of meetings and events.
- Prioritize and qualify Showroom walk-in traffic by assisting every customer with all their project needs. This includes homeowners, remodelers, contractors, and their clients, who are involved in selecting products, generating quotes, placing orders, and invoicing sales.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, texts, leads, and quote opportunities within 24 hours.
- Maintain an active role in all phases of project management to ensure successful project execution, including plan review, product selection, project specification, proposal preparation, lead time and delivery management, exceptions, and bid inclusions.
- Develop consultative relationships with builders, specifying architects, and designers to educate them on products and services, influence their product specifications, and generate project sales opportunities.
- Conduct sales presentations and product knowledge meetings when needed.
- Be actively involved with local building industry organizations to build brand awareness and develop relationships. Represent the Company at industry events and trade shows.
- Work and communicate with the company staff, operations, warehouse, and driver team at the highest level of professionalism.
- Travel to vendor workshops and training sessions when necessary.
