Clerical - Claims Processor

Pay rate - $16.00 per hour

APS Medical Billing, located in Toledo Ohio, is seeking an experienced Clerical Assistant to join our billing team. Beginning service in 1960, APS has grown into one of the premier billing companies, currently billing for over 250 total client locations throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit medical records to insurers and other requesters
• Verify patient insurance information
• Submit claims
• Adjust accounts and work on balance reconciling projects
• Enter patient demographic information and other data entry

Qualifications

• Strong typing (40 wpm) and other computer skills
• Experience working in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
