Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced, high-performing ER team. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical, time-sensitive care to patients of all ages while advancing your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, efficient nursing care to ER patients with conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.

• Triage and assess patients to determine priority of care.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, follow-up care, and referrals.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER RN experience required

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma

Licensure:

• Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License (or ability to obtain before start date)

Certifications:

• BLS – required prior to start

• ACLS & PALS – required within 90 days of hire

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – required within 90 days
