/Preferred Qualifications
Specific responsibilities include:
- Definition and execution of test plans to validate dynamic system performance. Document, analyze, and present test results
- Compare measurements with simulation results and update system dynamics models as needed
- Perform calibration and control tuning on advanced mechatronic systems
- Make proposals for improving current control performance and drive the implementation of solutions. Document and present the methodology and outcomes
Preferred qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of dynamic system, feedback control and signal processing
- Experience with dynamic testing, including modal testing and vibration measurement
- Experience modeling control of dynamic systems using Matlab/Simulink and Python
- Strong analytical capability, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MS or PhD) in Mechatronics, Control Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Requires less than 1 year of related experience.
