Summary

We are looking for a talented Machine Learning Intern to join AI / Ml team and contribute to various projects focused on applying machine learning to solve real-world problems.

This internship offers hands-on experience in developing testing and deploying machine learning models as well as exposure to best practices in the industry.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in gathering cleaning and preparing data for model training and evaluation.

Work with ML and MLOps engineers and data scientists to develop and fine-tune machine learning and large language models.

Conduct experiments to test different models and approaches documenting results and identifying the most effective methods.

Use metrics and evaluation techniques to assess model performance and suggest improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Create detailed documentation of workflows models and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing within the team.

Work closely with other team members in engineering and product development to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

Write web services to enable use of the models in production software.

Qualifications :

Educational Background : Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Engineering or a related field.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Python with familiarity in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow PyTorch or scikit-learn.

Experience with data manipulation tools (e.g. Pandas NumPy).

Understanding of basic machine learning concepts including supervised and unsupervised learning regression classification and clustering.

This position is specifically designed for Northeastern University students as part of the universitys cooperative education (Co-op) program. Candidates must be enrolled at Northeastern University and eligible to participate in the official Co-op program for the designated term.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The US base hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role level education and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
