URGENT NEED FOR JACKSONVILLE - EASTSIDE BEACHES AND WESTSIDE RN FULLTIME AND PRN AVAILABLE.

Position : Registered Nurse

Pay range $31.25 to $48.08 per hour

Reports to : Clinical Supervisor / Case Manager

Position Summary

Provides services to clients in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, Agency policy, and accepted professional standards of practice.

The Registered Nurse provides nursing services utilizing a comprehensive base of nursing theory and nursing process, and communicates / documents observations and assessments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for professional nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute care setting of equivalent experience (or) works under the supervision of another RN with two (2) years experience preferably but not required in home care. (Under the supervision of another RN can include precepting the employee and or consultation)
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and / or Agency requirements and in good repair. Good driving record.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Essentially Functions / Areas of Accountability

Performs comprehensive assessments of clients status, including physical, psychological, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.

Assessment skills as applied to the client, family / support system, and environment.

Reports significant changes in client status to physician and other members of the team in a timely manner consistent with client needs.

Demonstrates knowledge of safety / infection control practices by complying with established policies and procedures.

Participates in all mandatory education per Agency guidelines.
