Description : The Special Education District of Lake County will have an opening for a part time Orientation and Mobility Specialist for the 2024-2025 school year.

SEDOL is looking for someone who has a dual license preferably; PEL - Blind and Partially Sighted (vision impairment) and COMS (Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist).

Orientation and mobility is part of the educational process that prepares the student with a visual impairment to travel independently.

Position : Part-time

Salary / Benefits : Salary range $44,799 - $72,440 based on experience and eductation. Benefits package is offered (part-time school year 2025-2026)
