Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

to join our dedicated rehabilitation team and help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified.

What Youll Do :

As a COTA, youll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled, evidence-based therapy services. Your role will support patients in recovering function, improving mobility, and returning to their prior level of independence whenever possible.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide rehabilitative treatment based on individualized care plans

Assist with ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices

Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT

Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment minutes

Participate in care conferences and team meetings

Support and supervise students (with OT oversight)

Uphold all regulatory, ethical, and safety standards

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Active state license / registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

One year of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred

Strong communication and documentation skills

Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
