Speech Language Pathologist

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Agency : Hired by Matrix Inc.

Pay : $1,900 per week

Shift Information : Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours

Shift Details :   Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30)

Weekly Schedule : 40 Hours

Certifications :

  • License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • License in Speech-Language Pathology from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and / or from the State of New Jersey, or eligible for same, in which case licensure will be obtained within 3 months of initial employment.
  • CCC-SLP - Clin Competence in Speech-Lang - Required.
  • Required :  Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Mandatory Experience :

Required Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of licensed experience.

  • Preferred Experience :  Experience in pediatric medical-based setting.

    • Education :

  • Teaches within the Department, Hospital, professional community, and non-professional community.
  • Provides consultative services outside of the Hospital setting.
  • Mentors professional observers, students, and clinical fellows.
  • High level of analytical skill in order to work independently to identify and plan for the resolution of problems encountered in clinical and research duties.
  • High level of skill in various assessment procedures pertaining to speech and language skills in the pediatric population.
  • Fundamental research skills including a general understanding of research methodology, design, and statistics.
