A media company billing associate is responsible for accurately processing invoices, managing accounts receivable, reconciling payments, and supporting revenue operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and client billing standards.

Mon - Friday, 8am- 5pm EST

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Generation and Management : Create and distribute invoices accurately and on schedule for media services, advertising campaigns, subscriptions, or client accounts.
• Accounts Receivable & Payment Tracking : Monitor incoming payments, reconcile accounts, update ledgers, and follow up with clients on overdue balances.
• Billing Reconciliation and Reporting : Prepare monthly, quarterly, or ad-hoc reports on revenue, outstanding payments, and discrepancies; assist in financial forecasting.
• Client Communication : Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and resolve discrepancies professionally, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Compliance and Accuracy : Ensure adherence to internal billing guidelines, media contracts, and industry regulations; maintain accurate billing records.
• Collaboration with Teams : Work closely with sales, finance, and account management teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve any cross-departmental issues.
• Collections Support (if applicable) : Assist with payment collection efforts for overdue accounts while maintaining positive client relationships.
