Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol

As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol in Albuquerque NM you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls Tech / Media / Telecom and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol retail and technology-focused locations helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols providing outstanding customer service and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. Pay Rate : $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Mon 12 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

Tue 12 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

Fri 12 : 30 PM - 08 : 30 PM

Sat 12 : 30 PM - 08 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within retail mall and tech-related locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner to support a secure environment for staff and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disturbances.
  • Document observations and report incidents or irregularities according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site staff and / or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and information to visitors employees and / or customers.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
