Job Title : PRN Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Location : Various Client Homes – Atlanta Metro Area

Reports To : Clinical Supervisor

Employment Type : PRN (As Needed / Flexible Schedule)

Pay Rate : $XX / hour (based on experience and assignment)

Job Summary :

Burgess Elite Care is seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team on a PRN (as-needed) basis in the following service areas : Dekalb, Newton, Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, Paulding, Douglas, Henry, Clayton, and Rockdale  counties. As a PCA, you will provide non-medical support and personal care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain dignity, independence, and safety in daily living.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist clients with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

Provide companionship and emotional support

Assist with mobility and transfers (bed, chair, walker, wheelchair)

Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying)

Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary

Accompany clients to appointments or errands (if required)

Observe and report any changes in client’s condition to supervisor

Document services provided daily

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED required

Certified PCA or completion of approved caregiver training program

Current CPR / First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Must be caring, patient, and have a passion for helping others

Ability to work flexible hours and PRN shifts

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Ability to perform tasks that may require physical exertion
