Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The role involves the design, development, and maintenance of test systems for electrical and control subsystems across various robotic product lines. This position requires building and implementing automated test solutions for embedded hardware to enhance efficiency, traceability, and test coverage. The ideal candidate will work closely with design, systems, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure the testability and manufacturability of our products.

Requirements :

Experience developing Software test architecture

5+ years of experience

C++, Python, Linux

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test systems for electrical and control subsystems.
• Build and implement automated test solutions for embedded hardware.
• Collaborate with design, systems, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
• Analyze test data to identify issues and drive root cause investigations.
• Implement corrective actions based on test data analysis.
• Support new product introduction by creating scalable test strategies.
• Maintain and update documentation for test equipment, processes, and protocols.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians while improving test practices and tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is a dynamic mix of lab / manufacturing floor and office settings, with a 50 / 50 split. Initially, the role requires on-site presence five days a week, with potential flexibility in the future. The role offers the exciting opportunity to work on the next generation of our robotics.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $67.31 / hr.
