Dear Future PreSchool Teacher of Sunshine Playhouse
In preschool children build a strong foundation in social pre-academic and general life skills that will give them a leg up in school and beyond. Studies show that children who graduate from preschool have improved academic readiness lower incarceration rates and higher earnings.
Studies also indicate that kids enrolled in preschools have later shown a better understanding of concepts and improved grades in elementary school. Preschool is the first place where a kid finds his own identity learns to interact with people other than his family make new friends thereby gaining self-confidence in the process.
Watching the progress of children learning and seeing their success in the future is priceless!
Sunshine Playhouse is searching for a Lead Teacher that can teach and develop these skills to the children enrolled in our order to effectively do this you must have childcare experience and be a lead certified teacher.
The Lead Teacher is in charge of the entire classroom management. You are in charge of making sure the children are learning you are following lesson plans the classroom has consistent structure and transitions making sure the classroom has effective communication between teachers and staff and overall making sure everyone is having fun!

This position will start in November 2025.

Pay is based on experience and qualifications.

Once you apply and if you meet the qualifications for a lead teacher you will be contacted for a phone chat with our hiring manager. During the phone chat we will go over details and questions you have prepared ahead of time. After the chat we will allow time in between setting up an in person interview. We will be back in touch with you within 12 hours to be sure you still want to move forward with the interview process.
