This is a professional leadership position responsible for overseeing process / plant engineering operations, ensuring optimal performance of plant facilities and equipment while managing resources and the process engineering staff effectively.

• Execute the CapEx and Mid-term Capital Expenditure Plans.
• Assign responsibilities, create timelines and schedule for major projects; monitor project progress and ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Manage the process and automation engineering departments.
• Assign engineers to manage outside contractor work for CapEx projects.
• Assist and support in the development of new processes and equipment, and documentation of maintenance procedures for the equipment.
• Understand the technical details of Yuasa’s processes and communicate with employees in cross-functional departments.
• Propose projects that promote opportunities to improve the accuracy and reliability of existing equipment.
• Collaborate with the Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality and Product Engineering departments on scrap improvement projects aimed at meeting company targets.
• Support manufacturing and maintenance department when required on major breakdowns of equipment.
• Create a working environment that puts a priority on safety.
