[job_card.job_description]5-7+ years of construction experience in a dedicated safety role. Experience with projects in occupied buildings and ongoing operations. Experience in operational data centers, especially on retrofit projects. Experience with retrofit projects in live mission-critical environments or occupied spaces. Knowledge of practices in the design and construction industry, including fast-track design-build processes. Experience working within an OCIP environment. Experience with the implementation of Environmental Health & Safety enhancement programs. Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety from an accredited university. OSHA 500 certification. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) designation through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). Experience partnering with team members and contractors. Industry knowledge to understand the design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems related to data center construction processes. This is a full-time onsite position based in Gallatin, TN. Candidates must be flexible to support projects with some potential for overtime, dependent on project needs. Approval for overtime is required prior to engagement. The work environment involves working primarily on site, with travel between 0-30% to gain knowledge and render support as needed. This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, TN. The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00 / hr. Construction Safety Manager
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Design Engineering Construction (DEC) team as a Site Loss Control Specialist - Construction Safety. This role is vital in providing guidance on complex construction activities related to safety, insurance regulatory compliance, and risk management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the success of the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) and will provide the jobsite with loss control services to deliver a safe work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform risk assessments for all construction-related tasks.
- Maintain a working relationship with the project team to facilitate zero incidents.
- Provide guidance to the project team and contractors to implement effective safety methodologies on site.
- Facilitate incident investigation, root cause analysis, and reporting for corrective actions.
- Work in conjunction with the ICM loss control team to ensure deliverables and job functions maintain minimum standards.
- Participate and assist with on-site training to enhance safety efforts.
- Engage in maintaining cross-functional relationships to foster cooperation and enhance safety endeavors.
- Integrate effectively into the construction sequence on site to facilitate best-in-class safety performance.
- Function effectively within an OCIP environment.
