We are looking for an experienced VP / Director of Finance to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting for a long-term contract position. Based in Marlborough, Massachusetts, this role will involve managing key financial processes, including budgeting, audits, and closing procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, as well as proficiency with ERP and Excel. Responsibilities include leading the year-end closing process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements. Oversee audit preparation and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors. Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgeting processes to align with organizational goals. Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, providing insights into operational performance. Manage cash flow forecasts to optimize financial resources and support strategic planning. Utilize ERP and Excel to perform detailed financial analyses and reporting. Coordinate month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the financial operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Support long-term financial planning initiatives to drive organizational growth.

Requirements include proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, such as VP or Director of Finance. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities. Demonstrated ability to manage audits and year-end financial closings. Expertise in preparing cash flow forecasts and analyzing financial data. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
